Pagan Witches Hex Embrace Sisterhood in 'Page of Pentacles'

The New Zealand three-piece have released a new track to coincide with an Australian tour.

Positioning themselves somewhere between Black Sabbath and Enya, New Zealand pagan witches HEX are back and heading to Australian shores. The Wellington trio will cross the Tasman to present their raw, unapologetic act that encompasses a mixture of folk, punk, metal and prog rock.

"Page of Pentacles", from their forthcoming album Past, Present, Future, sees HEX working with catchy, anthemic verses and a killer chorus that builds to a sonic prog breakdown. Inspired by the strong nature of sisterhood and feminism, the song fiercely delivers the message of rejecting patriarchy, through its harmonisation and pagan lyricism.
