Since their debut show in February, Brisbane miscreants Dagz have been disturbing locals with their suburban punk and what they call "a pinch of rock'n'roll down the elbow".They've just released a new tape on local label Tropical Cancer records and launch it tonight at the Bearded Lady. With tracks like "Alcohol & Telly" and "Mad in Queensland" we suspect that a lot of it was inspired by BWS/Woolworths coupons and traffic chaos on the Pacific Motorway. "Tomorrowland", a track that you can hear on their Bandcamp page, is essentially lo-fi crud about eating pills to feel alright and to give their bodies a fright.Make of that what you will.
Dagz launch 'tape' May 25 at Brisbane's Bearded Lady with Pullout Kings and Piss Pain.
