Dagz Are Ready to Sprinkle Some Punk Magic On Your Flavourless Soul

Listen to a track from the Brisbane punk's brand new cassette tape.

Since their debut show in February, Brisbane miscreants Dagz have been disturbing locals with their suburban punk and what they call "a pinch of rock'n'roll down the elbow".

They've just released a new tape on local label Tropical Cancer records and launch it tonight at the Bearded Lady. With tracks like "Alcohol & Telly" and "Mad in Queensland" we suspect that a lot of it was inspired by BWS/Woolworths coupons and traffic chaos on the Pacific Motorway. "Tomorrowland", a track that you can hear on their Bandcamp page, is essentially lo-fi crud about eating pills to feel alright and to give their bodies a fright.

Make of that what you will.

Dagz launch 'tape' May 25 at Brisbane's Bearded Lady with Pullout Kings and Piss Pain.
