Dianetics Are Here to Help You Discover the Modern Science of Mental Punk

Antonio, Matt, Jeff and Diane are Dianetics, a Chicago band who write and perform fast punk songs about real stuff that they know about. Stuff like, retail ("Workin' Down at the Doc (Marten Flagship Store)"", adversaries ("You're The One (I Want to Fist Fight)") and Uncle Herm ("Uncle Herm RIP").

Though they only played their first show in February things have been moving fast with a demo
and their new release Dianetics and Psycho Horse.

Of the six tracks on the new release our favourite is "Shrimp on the MF'in Barbie Baby" which makes references to the "land Down Under" and possibly barbecues of some kind.

The band are playing May 27 in Cleveland as part of Horrible Fest alongside Dog, Birch Boys, Know So, The Roobydocks and Street Gurgler.
