Leisure Centre and Bec Rigby's "Don't Let Go" is a Delight

The band formerly known as The Do Yo Thangs have announced a name change to Leisure Centre, and to celebrate they're releasing a killer new single with The Harpoons' Bec Rigby, premiering below.

Melbourne band The Do Yo Thangs are back, with a twist: They're not called The Do Yo Thangs anymore. Earlier this month, drummer, bandleader and vocalist Hugh Rabinovici announced that the band were changing their name to Leisure Centre, due to some recent feedback that their old name was culturally inappropriate for the way it used African-American Vernacular English.

They're not letting the name-change slow them down though: today we're premiering their cracking new single "Don't Let Go (with Bec Rigby)," a piece of dark, downtempo, synth-heavy pop. Rigby, lead singer of Melbourne stalwarts The Harpoons, provides backing vocals that play perfect contrast to Rabinovici. "Don't Let Go" is taken from Leisure Centre's upcoming record Mind Full , which is set to be a winner. Listen to "Don't Let Go":
