Crispy Duck, Hoops and Post Gig Partying With REMI, SILENTJAY and JACE XL

In this episode of My Friend's Band, Melbourne MC REMI heads to Sydney to catch his good buddies SILENTJAY and Jace XL perform at the iconic Chippo Hotel.

REMI, with his soulful blend of hip-hop and new approach to beats, has become a unique voice in Australian music. His mates Jace XL (Hiatus Kaiyote vocalist) and producer SILENTJAY are also gaining traction for their strain of future-sounds rooted in retro-R&B and funk.

Pre-gig, the three chow down on some crispy duck and shoot hoops where conversation turns to friendship and the growing diversity of the Australian music scene. It's then off to the Chippo for soundcheck and party times.

We tagged along to catch SILENTJAY and Jace XL bust out some new tracks and REMI getting some smooth dance moves on.
