Watch Police Force Horn Up in ‘Sex Scene’

The bratty Brisbane band's new video is probably going to make you gag a bit.

It's been a balmy summer in Brisbane and Police Force have no intention of turning down the heat on their sweaty and perverted new video "Sex Scene". Armed with some supplies, including a gimp mask, a hammer and a spray bottle, the band reinforce their bedroom duty of care in delivering a vivid, sexual experience.

Sonically, the music could be compared to the psychedelia of Primal Scream or Brian Jonestown Massacre. But there's also an urgency and horniness in Police Force that is a reaction to Brisbane's asexuality.

At the helm is bizarro director and Virtual Cool's Josh Watson and the video comes alive, with gangly guitars, delayed vocals and Sam Wightman, the ego-driven frontman. The video features all four members engaging in some sort of sex act, including an absolutely repulsive cameo by Watson himself, this is one video that's as hilarious as it is downright depraved.

We have a chat with Wightman about porn, the pride of being a Brisbanite and 'movie magic' (whatever that means).

Noisey: What's your all-time, favourite sex scene?
Sam Wightman: Uhhhh, are we talking pornography or Hollywood? Titanic with the steam handprint. Very romantic. And there's probably one in Avatar with the blue aliens. James Cameron, baby. He's making four more of those films. That shit is garbage. Next question.

The band has a rather anti-Brisbane vibe. What was Police Force born out of?
Does it? It's hard not to be unsatisfied with your surroundings in that city and there's certainly a multitude of bands that reflect that. But no. I love Brisbane. The band was born out of Brisbane.

How did you convince Josh Watson to choke and vomit on camera?
Josh directed it so we didn't have to convince him to do a damn thing. He was just doing his thing. I don't think it's disgusting. That was all a bit, a gag. It's a film clip. It's not real, he's not really choking and stuff. It's movie magic.

You've just moved to Melbourne. What do you want to do next?
Move to Sydney.
