This is the year of Aldous Harding. Don't fight us on that alright because it's happening whether you like it or not. Since the release of her second album, Party, earlier this year, the New Zealand singer-songwriter has been practically unforgettable. The record itself is an absolute goer, soft and hard and smart and revealing but also kind of makes you feel like you'll never want to know anyone as much as you want to know Harding. First single "Horizon" and its video were funny, eccentric, dark—typically her—and "Imagining My Man" dropped the theatrics for moment. Her performance on Jools Holland ought to have made your arm hairs stand on end. And now we've got a video to the beautiful "Blend." Because it's Aldous Harding, what once was a serene and tender folk song will now forever make you think of cowgirls and pistols and performative sex appeal. Which is cool.Watch it below.
