Watch Tapz’s New Video, and Just Try to Resist the Hype

The New Zealander is back with single number two, and is no longer "Young."

Well, we knew it would happen eventually—that Tapz would do something huge. He even said it himself, in an interview with Noisey late last year. The New Zealander, formerly known as Young Tapz, dropped "Run Don't Run" and its video last Friday.

The track is the second single from Tapz, and is very much what we hoped we'd see from the young artist, when he talked to us about love changing everything, noting that it opened up his perspective; he wouldn't be making music about "power, money, fame, bitches…" again because he wanted people to feel something. And he's doing it. This track feels like a call to arms. Despite the intimate subject matter, "Run Don't Run" plays almost like a protest song.

Directed by Joe Szela, the video sees Tapz thrashing about in the snowy wilderness among wolves and pine trees. And, of course, some fire. Watch it below and follow Tapz on Soundcloud here.
