Breakandenter Celebrate Their Birthday With An Exclusive DBX Set

We are teaming up with Toronto’s best event planners for their 7th anniversary party.

FREE CAKE!

Now that we've captured your gluttonous attention, THUMP is thrilled to announce that we're teaming up with Breakandenter for their 7th year anniversary party. And yes, there's free birthday cake.

The Breakandenter crew are some of Toronto's top dogs in party planning. Having graced the city with solid events like the Foundry series and Movement Detroit pre-parties, it comes as little surprise that their anniversary party is of epic proportions.

The team has looped in Daniel Bell―one of the pioneers in minimal techno―for his first ever Canadian live performance as his moniker, DBX. Not only is Toronto Daniel's old stomping grounds, it was at Toronto's legendary Twilight Zone Club where he was first exposed to house music. But like many techno greats, Daniel eventually moved to Detroit. He began to carve out his name in the industry and accomplished collaborations with the likes of Richie Hawtin and John Acquaviva under the name, Cybersonik. To add to the exclusiveness, his DBX show will be one of only five North American performances of 2014.

Don't miss out on this huge night on Saturday December 13 at Wrongbar in Toronto. You can grab your tickets here and listen to some DBX tracks below to get you in the spirit.
