All Three (Yes, Three!) Volumes of UV Race's Greatest Hits Are Available on One Tape

Listen to more songs about Warragul and LEGO from Melbourne punks UV Race.

"Baw Baw Blues", the first track on UV Race's 2008 debut single is a good introduction to the Melbourne punks. Well, that and the crudely drawn dicks on their early flyers. Over busted guitar and woops and hollers, frontman Marcus Rechsteiner sings about missing his baby and there not being any snow at Mount Baw Baw, one of Australia's more basic alpine resorts.

It's also the first track on The UV Race's Greatest Hits Volumes 1, 2 & 3, a new compilation cassette that features over 80-minutes of the band's material. As well as the first seven-inch that was released on Aarght, the compilation collects early material and songs that appeared on their many singles on S-S, Fashionable Idiots, Sweet Rot and Hozac as well as early demo tracks.

Featuring UV classics such as "Lego Man", "Good Money", "MASH" and "Acid Trip", the 33 songs are a solid reminder of how much fun and wild a UV Race gig can get.

'Greatest Hits Volume 1, 2 & 3' is available now on Paradise Daily records.
