Listen to Franki Chan's New Check Yo Ponytail Mixtape

Franki Chan, still covered in confetti and bodily fluids from his birthday, somehow managed to gather the wherewithal to put together this rad mixtape for the upcoming Check Yo Ponytail tour. In typical IHC/CYP fashion, the mixtape and tour are all over the place, but that's by design. In the man's words: "This year's line-up is The Presets, LE1F, Antwon, Chela, Saint Pepsi and myself. The mix is definitely inspired by this and also gives people a taste of the kind of music I'll be playing on the road."

The mix itself is a collection of fancies new and old. "Para One and Bobmo are both still two of my all time faves," Franki says. "They consistently put out really great, forward thinking music. I wish they were bigger in the US because the really deserve it."

Franki further explains: "Worthy and Mickey Kojak are two artists that I've discovered more recently. I really love these tracks so much and they kill it in the club. The Presets and Chela are both on the tour and these remixes of their tracks fit the mix so well it made perfect sense to include them! And the new Caribiou is just fucking incredible."

It's been a big year for Mssr. Chan et al: "IHC has been growing more into a lifestyle brand than straight promotion," he explains. "2014 has also been our 10 year anniversary so we've been celebrating that. One of our most exciting announcements recently was the launch of our new singles label, IHC 1NFINITY, as part of Manimal's new label group. We just released 'Handful of Gold' by Chela."
