David Beckham's New Underwear Commercial has a Surprising Co-Star

David Beckham and James Corden star in an underwear commercial on The Late Late Show and Beckham still looks damn good.

The new host of the revival of "The Late Late Show" did a brave thing by standing shirtless next to David Beckham. James Corden and Beckham create their own underwear commercial, promoting a line made for every man—and David Beckham.

James Corden is not a jester providing comedic relief, he is but a metaphor. David Beckham wearing nothing but a mysterious gaze, tattoos, and tight, white briefs is an image that has permanently burned a place in our memories and forever changed underwear modeling history. No matter who tries to out shine him, the image can not be replicated. James Cordon is a metaphor for everyone because no one can ever look good next to David Beckham. Women adore him, men envy him, and Posh Spice probably washes her black, leathery clothes on him. David Beckham is the Brahma of soccer stars and underwear enthusiasts everywhere; we can only strive to be like him, but never dare to replace him. James Corden, however, is a round, happy reminder that we are free to live amongst him in peace and wear the same underwear, created for men (and women?) with a great body—and David Beckham.
