A trippy mix of polymorphous shapes meets neon hues and abstract visuals in Slime Sunday’s digital art experiments. The otherworldly 3D creations uploaded to the artist's Instagram range from disembodied craniums and gooey portrait studies to fine-art inspired texture studies.Slime Sunday is a Boston-based, self-taught artist who started experimenting with visual art the day he got an Instagram account. Inspired by Grime Art such as Getter’s music video for Head Splitter, Slime Sunday decided to visualize his concepts in 3D.Some of his works reflect the “Slime Sunday” moniker by literally applying goo to outlandish, abstract visuals while others play with the notion of motion, to create a more dynamic and vibrant journey through alien worlds. Working with Cinema 4D, Octane Render Engine, Adobe Photoshop, and X Particles, Slime Sunday experiments with different concepts on a daily basis. “I try to stay as versatile as possible,” the artist tells The Creators Project. “I purposely experiment with a new idea every day, so that my artwork does not become stagnant.”Click here to see more work by Slime Sunday.Related:This Futuristic Take on the Fauvism Movement Is Trippy as HellStereoscopic GIFs Get Trippy Makeovers with Neural Network ImagingPaint-Covered Balloons Burst Like Liquid Jewels
