Mis-Teeq Jump On The Reunion Bandwagon

And we're not mad at all.

Alesha Dixon, Sabrina Washington and the other one are apparently mulling over reforming Mis-Teeq, thus joining the great noughties-groups-we-got-hysterical-over reunion movement Destiny's Child seem to have sparked this New Year. According to Metro, Dixon is quoted as saying:

"We are speaking and we’re having a meeting. It’s like all these bands reforming are just jumping on the bandwagon but I’d be quite happy to go in the studio for a year with the girls and just work on a new record…I am so up for doing something with the girls. I have been for a long time. I don’t think anybody has actually filled the gap since Mis-Teeq left, which is quite worrying as I thought we were opening doors for people."

In light of So Solid selflessly finishing their prison sentences/ very quiet solo careers to put on a comeback show, all I'm hoping is that the ladies are planning retuning on a garage revival tip and not on a grown-n-sexy R&B one. When you've got a back catalogue that includes hits like "Why" and "All I Want", there's no way any self-respecting twenty-something two-step fan could tire of Alesha shouting: "EM WITH THE I WITH THE ESS WITH THE DOUBLE E Q". And, anyway, you've said it in a national paper now Alesha babe, so you have to do it .
