Nadine Shah: "To Be A Young Man"

With two critically acclaimed EPs already strapped under her belt, sultry songstress Nadine Shah is gearing up to release her debut full length album Love Your Dumb And Mad. A title which sounds like the sort of complimentary insult couples lovingly spew at each other across post-dinner washing up.

Endearing insults aside, track "To Be A Young Man" is a dramatically infused composition of the darker, sinister variety. It’s beautiful, too, just in an uneasy, off-kilter kind of way. Which, if you’ve ever fallen in love with a chick from art school, is always the best kind of beauty.
