We said over a year ago that Puppy should be your new favourite band. Their previous output has been heavy as shit, but without compromising on melody or accessibility, they're always taking unexpected turns the second you think you've got them figured out. They make you use words like "riff" and "shred" without a single glint of irony. They are, to put it simply, the best.Their new track "Entombed", which we're premiering below, is the apex of all those things the London trio have now refined to a tee. It sounds like Deftones-lite, like Disturbed back when they were good and not releasing covers of Simon and Garfunkel songs with a level of earnesty surpassed only by Creed, like it fully could have been on the Queen of the Damned soundtrack, basically.
