PREMIERE: Kieran Mercer's Relationship Go Out With a “Bang Bang” in His New Video

Here’s a video that will make you think twice before calling it off with your significant other. British Columbia-based singer Kieran Mercer (formerly of band Jackie Valentine) has released the visuals for his debut solo single “Bang Bang”—an extreme breakup ballad to commence his solo career. The video’s crisp, black and white cinematography tells the presumably fictional story of Mercer’s ex-girlfriend, a woman who apparently can’t handle rejection. In the opening verse, Mercer sings “It was over and done, but she didn’t see it that way,” and as the track’s title implies, she loads up a revolver and … well you can see for yourself below. The catchy single will appear on Mercer’s debut solo album anticipated for later this year.
