Mineral is playing a handful of reunion shows in New York this weekend and with all due respect to the emo legends, we’ve had 20 years to cry over their songs. We are still routinely bummed out and get dumped on the reg. We need new ways to satiate our desire to be consoled with music. That’s why this Friday (September 5), we’re throwing a FREE show with our favorite up-and-coming bands at the Brooklyn Night Bazaar. So in case you didn’t get a Mineral ticket, or are just looking for some new music to have feelings about, come on by. Some of our favorite people (and also Chumped) are playing this thing. Doors open around 6 PM. We’d recommend getting there early because this thing is gonna fill up to a wacky degree. Here’s who’s on tap…The emo pop wunderkinds. The soon-to-be Philly legends armed with members of Weston and Ex Friends.Brooklyn’s own pop punk young'uns playing their first New York show in nearly two hours!Featuring members of the mighty, mighty Iron Chic, bringing that Americana twang.
