Chrissy Teigen Got Down on Her Knees to Greet Beyoncé at the Grammys

Sounds about right.

Chrissy Teigen is not a musician, but she is married to one, and often associates with others, and she is also the funniest and best person online, so I like writing about her on this music website.

This particular Chrissy Teigen appreciation post is in regard to her recent appearance on The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon, during which she discussed her pregnancy and also her recent meeting with Beyoncé at the Grammys last weekend. I'm going to leave the description of that to Chrissy:

There's nothing like seeing Beyoncé in person. It's just so incredible – the aura that comes around her, she just emits this aura, it's spectacular. And on our way out, I was like "we have to say something, right?" and I took both her hands and – I don't do this for anyone, it's very weird, and John's like "what the hell are you doing?" – I took her hands and I got down on my knees and I was like "Sorry to bother you, my queen."

The above is what most women would do upon meeting Beyoncé (she tends to inspire religious-level fervour) – but it doesn't really make imagining a five-months-pregnant Chrissy Teigen taking both knees, clasping Beyoncé's hands, gazing up into her face and calling her "queen" any less stupid and great, does it?

Elsewhere on her Fallon appearance Chrissy talked about how she's actually sorta bored of "All of Me," the mum favourite which John Legend wrote for her, as well as John's upcoming turn as Christ himself in NBC's Jesus Christ Superstar Live!, generally proving that she is still a great laugh. I think we would get along. Call me, Chrissy. We'll get mimosas.
