Brighton based night Ye Ye Fever has spent the last few years packing out the Green Door Store in a celebration of the deadliest African rhythms around, with DJs playing styles that veer from vintage Highlife & OK Jazz to Afrobeat & late 80s/early 90s Kwassa Kwass. This NYE sees them playing Charles Green B2B Mehtola, Chris Headcount, Christian Piers, Lorca Music, Midnight Funk Association DJ's, Øvre, Wild Fantasy and Bicep at Patterns' One Night in Miami bash.To get you in the mood for that, we asked Ye Ye Fever to put together an hour or so of upbeat African floorfillers and they duly obliged.This mix spansthe best sounds a continent has to offer across time and space.
