No, we're not talking about the reported Amy Berg film, Mystery White Boy, that still hasn't come to fruition. We're talking about Daniel Algrant's now complete, and rather brilliant-looking, Greetings From Tim Buckley, starring Penn Badgley as our boy Jeff.

Not the conventional biopic that will no doubt arrive soon, Algrant's film, billed as "the true story of the rise of Jeff Buckley", chronicles the days leading up to Jeff's performance at his father's tribute concert in 1991.

AN INTERVIEW WITH HARMONY KORINE

Harmony Korine may have missed out on spring break when he was younger due to his obsession with skateboarding, but he more than makes up for it now with his hilarious college-kid crime caper Spring Breakers. We sat down with the 40-year-old filmmaker to talk rappers, hairstyles, unfinished films and, of course, skateboarding’s influence on the director’s unique approach to filmmaking.

GFW: Hey Harmony.
Harmony Korine: I’m gonna stand up because I’ve been sitting down a lot today. I need to stand up. What was it about spring break that appealed to you as a filmmaker?
I kinda grew up around spring break culture, y’know, like those kids every year in high school who wanna drive down there and destroy things, burn motels, f*ck each other, do drugs, and then drive home and pretend like nothing ever happened. I thought it was a nice metaphor for the film and these girls and the characters.

Léa seems to have really impressed Wes on the set of the Prada Candy L'Eaux ads he co-directed with Roman Coppola, because he's cast her in his new project The Grand Budapest Hotel. I'm imagining she'll play some kind of delightful, adorable French vixen who runs around with balloons and rides bicycles. There will probably be some dancing.
