JD. Reid Drops a Spacey Paean to Purp on Plastician’s Terrorhythm Label

The label opens 2015 with a trippy addition to its Elements series.

Plastician's Terrorhythm kicks off 2015 with two fresh cuts from label stalwart JD. Reid.

The London-based producer opens Amethyst, the latest in the imprint's Elements series, with a downtempo paean to purp. The track's spacey, shimmering synthlines and syncopated beats draw on inspiration from the LA beat scene. On the flip, "Yachts Phantoms"'s wonky dissonant tones take the release to its trippy logical conclusion.

Both tracks are free to download now.
