Larry Fitzgerald Is Still Here, And He's Still A Beast

Larry Fitz is still a beast.

Up six over the 49ers with just under ten minutes left, the Arizona Cardinals were looking to put the game away but penalties left them facing a second-and-30. He hadn't had a catch all game, but Larry Fitzgerald picked up 25 yards and put them in manageable position for third down inside the Niners red zone. On third down, Drew Stanton looked Fitz's way again, but short of the sticks. Patrick Willis hit him with a shot that should have stopped him dead in his tracks, but he just bounced off him, righted himself, and muscled through three more defenders to get the first down.

Willis was penalized for unnecessary roughness and helmet contact with a defenseless receiver, but Fitzgerald seemed none the worse for wear.

(Just forget about the part where he fumbled on the next play, the Niners had to punt it anyway.)
