JMX and T-Bone Lift Acid House “Higher” in Their Latest Collaboration

A sweltering acid house number that is perfect for a late night rendezvous in a capacity club.

Dance music veterans JMX and T-Bone are the masterminds behind Extended Play Recordings, a Belfast-based imprint determined to deliver the full spectrum of quality underground house music, from deep to acid to techno. One of the precepts behind Extended Play involves looking to the future whilst remaining respectful of the past, and JMX' upcoming four-track Albany Park EP does exactly that.

The third cut off the EP is the JMX and T-Bone collaboration "Higher", a sweltering acid house number that is perfect for a late night rendezvous in a full capacity club. While the vocal sample conjures up memories of HARD boss Destructo's 2013 track of the same name, the irresistible mix of vintage and contemporary sounds and the relentless groove is entirely their own. Springtime might just be beginning in the Northern Hemisphere, but this park is already in full bloom.

You can pick up the Albany Park EP on April 2.
