F.C. Schalke Pushed Real Madrid to the Limit

Real Madrid barely advanced past F.C. Schalke in their Champions League matchup and really started to sweat when the Hunter went on the prowl.

Real Madrid allowed four goals at home in a Champions League match for the first time since 2000 against Bayern Munich and two of them went to The Hunter, Klaas-Jan Huntelaar. His second came in the 84th minute on an absolute rocket that rattled the crossbar and bounced in. Leroy Sane trickled an amazing ball through for Huntelaar, allowing him to run into it and smash it past Iker Casillas.

The strike gave Schalke a 4-3 lead, but Real Madrid hung on for dear life to a 5-4 lead on aggregate and advanced to the quarterfinals in wholly uninspiring fashion. Cristiano scored twice as well, but he ain't feeling it one bit.
