Kick Off Patio Season with Teen Daze's Remix of Pick A Piper

Vancouver’s Teen Daze takes a swing at remixing “Cinders and Dust”.

It may not be spring as of yet—the streets are still thawing, Canada Goose outwear is still visible, and the thermometer still shows some rather dreary digits. But that doesn't mean we can't plan ahead for the warmth to come.

As school semesters are winding down, summer festival lineups are emerging. But until then, a solid pre-summer 2015 is needed. Thanks to Teen Daze, his remix of "Cinders and Dust" is just the track to headline your personal soundtrack.

Toronto-based band Pick A Piper will release their remix album, Pick A Piper: Remixes, next month on Abandon Building Records. Teen Daze, along with Caribou, The Ruby Suns, Little People, and Jeremy Greenspan, have all come together to produce an eclectic set of 16 tracks. All of which encapsulate the psychedelic tones of the original album's tracks.

_Pick A Piper: Remixes will be out on April 7. All proceeds from the album sales will go to The Steve Reid Foundation—in honor of the late drummer Steve Reid. Reid is famous for working with artists like James Brown, Miles Davis, and Four Tet._
