Submotion Orchestra Mesmerizes With New LP Track "Trust/Lust"

The most beautiful thing you will hear all day.

While we all occasionly yearn for our fair share of face-melting tracks, there's nothing quite like the type of cuts that pack delicate beauty—tracks that make us think, sway, and feel. Along with other live-fusion acts like Clean Bandit, Maribou State, and Bonobo—the Leeds-based Submotion Orchestra is a seven-piece live electronica outfit who are currently making some of the most thought-provoking music around.

Their new album Alium will feature an array of tracks led by Ruby Wood's heart-tugging vocals, all of which are backlit by complex instrumentation ranging from half-time beats to heavy waves of synthesizers. The track we're premiering today "Trust/Lust" is an feelsy ride through upward building sounds, led by emotional vocals from Wood and a steady bass line.

Eyes closed people…

Alium will be released Nov. 24th (UK) and Dec.1st (US) on Counter - Pre-Order on iTunes
