Major Lazer's Jillionaire On Dolphins, Pizza, and Teaching Lindsay Lohan to DJ

Diplo and Walshy Fire's main man chops it up about going from Trinidad cable guy to big-time DJ/hype man. Plus, meet his production partner Richie Beretta.

Jillionaire's entire Instagram is usually pictures of him straight lamping in the most beautiful places in the world, from jet skiing in Jamaica to on stage in front of thousands in South Africa. We corralled the Major Lazer DJ and hype man in a rare moment—in the midst of a cold winter's day in NYC—right after the huge Major Lazer takeover of Pier 94 in NYC on the day before New Year's Eve (shot by ShootPeople).

We talked to Jillionaire about kissing dolphins, growing up in Trinidad, how he got his name, and the debut of his new label, Feel Up Records, with production partner Richie Beretta. Via magic, Beretta also appears to talk about how he met the man called Trini Chris and the pair also debate the hottest #trend of the moment, pizza.

Check out Jillionaire's forthcoming single with Salvatore Ganacci, "Fresh feat. Sanjin," out April 1 via our friends at Main Course.
