Kele Shares 5 Tips on the Electronic Music that Matters in 2015

Staying on top of the underground with Kele's list of leading producers.

Kele was surrounded by dance music growing up in London; a childhood soundtracked by drum & bass, house, techno and garage. This sonic world is one that Kele has returned to recently, releasing.two solo dance albums and a number of EPs on Damian Lazarus's label Crosstown Rebels and Berlin Studio's !K7. As well as producing music, Kele makes regular missions to clubs like the Berghain for a full immersion in the club scene. In short, he's a knowedgeable and passionate advocate for the electronic underground. Ahead of his upcoming Australian tour, we asked Kele which artists have him the most excited in 2015? Kele kindly sent back this list. If you don't know, now you know.

Holly Herndon

2014 was a good year for the San Francisco-based sound artist Herndon. She released the acclaimed Chorus EP last year which mixed ethereal vocals floated over masterfully constructed minimal techno.

Youandewan
"Stak Poly Looms" from Berlin based Youandwean is already one of my favourite tracks of the year. His recently released Spiral Arms EP masterfully mixes deep grooves, acid and no-nonsense house.

Krystal Klear
2015 is going to be a good year for KK, and is set to go massive with "One Night Only" featuring London's finest Yasmin Shahmir. This mysterious producer is making some of the best boogie, new jack swing and house, this side of the Atlantic.

Jay Shepheard

A British born and Berlin based techno producer who is currently working at his best. Seeing Sound was one of my favourite albums of 2014 - Shepheard skilfully knows how to conjure up a primed dance floor at its peak.

Dominik Eulberg
German producer Eulberg's lush productions have always lent themselves to the sounds of the natural world (which is apt as Eulberg is a former part-time national park ranger). Get lost in the expanse of his recent album Diorama.
