Syd's Fin, released back in February, set the bar for albums in 2017 early. Its sensual bedroom R&B established her solo career outside The Internet as a force to be reckoned with, and thankfully, she's not being stingy with new iterations of her melodic, electronic sound. Today she's releasing Always Never Home, a three track EP which feels very much like a continuation of the direction she established on Fin, only this time her craft is even more tightly honed.Premiered last night on Beats 1, the EP includes the previously released "Bad Dream/No Looking Back," as well as two new songs, "Moving Mountains" and "On the Road." All of them are solid 10/10s, and reminders of how fortunate we are to be privy to all the excellent things she's up to. Long live Syd (and, honestly, big thanks to her for making some really stellar sex music.)Follow Noisey on Twitter.
