The House of Commons has voted overwhelmingly in support of a bill that would allow Theresa May to begin Brexit negotiations. The final tally was 498 for, 114 against the triggering of article 50. – BBC

Anti-Semitism On the Rise
The number of anti-Semitic attacks in the UK reportedly rose to record levels in 2016. 1,309 incidents of anti-Jewish attacks were reported last year, compared to 960 in 2015, marking a rise of 36 percent. – Guardian
