Leave it to Gang Gang Dance to skillfully strip the chaos from Battles’s physically exerting rock jam “Ice Cream.” Predictably spacey, and accented with tribal drums, scratchy synthesizers, 8-bit melodies, and some sort of suction-based percussion, GGD transport us to a gathering of good vibes somewhere in the mountains, where presumably, everyone is eating ice cream.Surkin feat. Ann Saunderson: “Lose Yourself” (Brodinski remix)Parisian house musician Surkin’s club jam “Lose Yourself” sounds like it could be in heavy rotation at your local roller rink (if those even exist anymore) because of its late 80s-early 90s influenced instrumentation.
