The Coup: "Your Parents' Cocaine" Video Premiere

The controversial Oakland outfit are back with their latest Muppets inspired video.

Yes, that is a puppet snorting a load of chang you can see above. For more of that, all you've got to do is check out the brand new video from The Coup, appropriately titled "Your Parents' Cocaine" premiering right here.

It's not like these guys are strangers to kicking up controversy, i.e. their debut album being called Kill My Landlord, oh, and THAT infamous cover. But the biggest shock with this latest cut, taken from their current LP Sorry To Bother You, is that it's perhaps their biggest step away from the heavy boom-bap they rose to recognition with, as they trade it in for live instrumentals. Don't worry though, it's still drenched in frontman Boots Riley's social commentary, as the video's gak sniffing puppets make light of him remonstrating the one per centers for being spoilt scumbags.
