Tonstartssbandht (pronounced tone-starts-band-hut) is one band made of two brothers: Andy and Edwin. The guys are originally from Orlando, but now they just hang out in NYC and eat tacos. This brand new video for "Alright"—which is from a split with Dirty Beaches that's out now on Spacebridge Records—was shot by Sam Shea in Edwin's apartment in Brooklyn. Tonstartssbandht (a band name we constantly have to doublecheck the spelling of) somehow have elements of blues guitar, jazz drums and even metal breakdowns, yet don't sound quite like any of those things. The brothers also both have pretty dreamy moustaches, if you're into that.
Moving on though, they're about to embark on their third Russian tour. THIRD! Barack Obama has only been to Russia once. So if you're in Russia, you should make sure you see them live. If you're not in Russia, you should watch this video anyway.
