Holding the prestigious title of best individual artist names in a Montreal rap trio, The Posterz, are back with a remix of fellow Quebec-based group Secret Sun’s “Cold Coast.” Formed by Anne-Marie Campbell and Simon Landy, Secret Sun released their debut album, Cold Coast, in September 2014 and have now commissioned several acts to remix the album’s tracks. The Posterz’s producer Joey Sherret (formerly Sir Share-It) preserves the soft crooning vocals of the original but adds a pounding kick drum and slick guitar licks along with Husser and Kri$ the $pirit’s colourful verses. The result of which is a bouncy sounding track that’s delightfully odd in its composition.
