Here’s A Polite Request From School Damage For Gasbaggers to Shut It

The shambolic pop foursome take aim at those who can't get enough of their own voices.

The Collins English Dictionary describes gas bagging, or a gasbagger, as someone who talks in a voluble way about unimportant matters. The rather more direct Urban Dictionary description is "Someone who talks utter bullshit."

Shambolic pop foursome School Damage felt strongly enough about gasbagging that they wrote a song and created a video about blustering bullshitters.

"Gasbagging is about feeling irritated by people that talk too much. We were keen to create something that was visually chaotic, fractured and frantic, but also playful and humorous," explains the band's Carolyn Hawkins.

Taken from the Geelong/Melbourne band's debut self-titled album released on Chapter Music, the video, created by Sean McAnulty and Alex McLaren, features illustrations by Hawkins as well as hundred of photographs that were printed at Officeworks. The result is a fun and visually engaging call for people to shut the fuck up already.

Watch the video below and check the band's upcoming tour dates.
