Back in November, we introduced Cardo Antonnio and producer J. Cortz, the brotherly tandem from Brampton collaborating to create a bouncy mixture of both song and rap. Since that interview, the duo accumulated some additional buzz after releasing "Run It," which gathered half a million streams on Spotify alone. Now, the brothers have shared their first track of 2017, "Real Ones." The track is comprised of distorted piano hits overtop of whirling percussion by J. Cortz while Antonnio nonchalantly switches between rapping and crooning. The song's theme is simple: stay real."'Real Ones'; that's just what I, as much as my people look for," explains Antonnio. "Whether it's in a friend, a significant other. I don't care much for social media rants and what the latest is. Stay true and humble and reap the benefits. Nothing less than."
