Fantastic Man is the alias of Melbourne-born and Berlin-based Mic Newman, a DJ, producer, and label founder whose last twelve months have been among his busiest ever. There was the Animal Language 12", a collaboration with underground house heros Max Graef and Andy Hart and a feature on Cut Copy's Oceans Apart compilation. Newman is kicking off the new year in style with this new El Tropo EP. The music blends polyrhythmic percussion, experimental rhythms, elusive samples and deep house grooves. Consider us entranced.
