On November 15, Erol Alkan, Klaxons, and 2ManyDJs turned up for a beautiful funeral, bidding farewell to Durrr in a haze of glitter and glory. Helmed by globe-trotting DJ Rory Phillips and the lovely Chandra, Durr was the spiritual successor to Erol's wildly successful Trash, providing a home for indie-dance fans to shake a tailfeather. Along the way, nearly every major DJ or band from the disco/house/post-punk world graced the stage: Holy Ghost, Aeroplane, Classixx, Ewan Pearson, In Flagranti, and the list goes on.This video—shot at XOYO in London by Dom Fleming—marks the end of an era, showing performances from Rory's Mixed Fortunes live set, residents Kiwi and Jonjo, and a cast of superstars helping Durrr go out with a bang.Music featured: Midnight Magic "Beam Me Up (Jacques Renault Remix)." Out now on Permanent Vacation.Watch our other videos from the XOYO Loves series:
