In der vergangenen Ausgabe von Noisey Radio auf Fritz konntet ihr einen exklusiven Mix von Lit City Trax-Chef J-Cush hören. Eine knappe Stunde lang gab es da UK-Bass, Grime, US-Rap und totale Mixhölle vom Feinsten. Anlass war die 3'Hi-Party im Burg Schnabel/Berlin, bei der sich UK-Grime-Größen und Newcomer den Staffelstab beziehungsweise das Mic und die Decks in die Hand gaben. Mit dabei: DJ Dan aka D Double E, Capo Lee, Zone 2, Blay Vision, J-Cush, Y.A.W. und viele mehr.

I had to open the mix with my guys, Zone 2 and their newest tune "Oh Shit". Zone 2, Narsty, P Savage, Skully and Trizzac have been the most active crew in the London drill scene, actively creating the style, and pushing the sound forward with every new banger they drop.

Blay Vision's "Skeen" is another banger I had to include on here. MazzaBeats, one of the stalwarts of London's Drill scene is on production duties here and the connection works properly. The track was released on Blay's debut album Turner Ave. which was released on my label, Lit City Trax. Looking forward to seeing Blay bring his vision to Berlin at Burg Schnabel.

The G.O.A.T., D Double E is coming to headline the 3 Feet Hi x Lit City Trax party under his elusive DJ alias, DJ Dan. I've included "Shush" - a dubplate special Double recorded for me on our boy Diamondz' beat, as well as "Shenaningans" which is from D Double E's forthcoming EP of the same name. Had to include a taster of what's about to come from Double.

I've been lucky enough to have DJ Dan on my Rinse FM show 2-3 times and it's always pure powers. The guy is simply the UK's greatest artist of all time, so it's exciting to hear him get behind the wheels. Berlin crew, expect a lot D Double E exclusives and some rare personal productions. It's always a lot.
