Fell To Low is a punk band from Ojai, CA that push what it means to be a hardcore band. Their new record Low In The Dust is a six track burner that shows everything the band is capable of, and fits every taste you'd want from a hardcore band. Their first song on the record, "Galore" is the right combination of melody and feeling like you're in a car crash. The track remains cohesive but takes many dips and turns of where it wants to go musically. As each track continues, songs get longer and more intense. "Boundary" is a nearly ten minute start-stop affair that takes a diving stomp after stomp in each of its sections. It retains the same riff but fucks it up more and more as each minute passes. "Truman" starts out like a twangier Slint track and winds slow around the listener, while the drums hit harder and harder as the song continues. It finally explodes in a flurry of emotion and heaviness when it hits its peak. Each song progresses on its own, but the entire record itself provides a sonic narrative that will crush and excite you.
