Hurry’s Video for “Nothing to Say” Will Inspire You to Finish That Novel You’ve Been Meaning to Write

Bust out that vintage Apple Macbook, buddy. You've got some words to type.

Have you ever heard of the sophomore slump? Sure you have. It’s when an artist has their whole life to create something profound and then can’t replicate that success the second time around. It happens to the best of ‘em: musicians, film directors, and, in the case of Hurry’s new video for “Nothing to Say,” novelists.

Watch as this burgeoning writer cannot duplicate the success of his debut novel with his vintage Apple Macintosh laptop, which, as we all know, is the essential tool on which all great art has been created. “Nothing to Say” is off of Hurry’s forthcoming album Guided Meditation, out soon from Lame-O Records (and on cassette too). But don’t let the video crush your dreams of writing that novel! You can do it! Definitely take a cue from Hurry and observe strangers in the park (but like, not in a creepy way, just a regular way). Write about them. Then profit off of their lives. But just remember: You’re only as good as your last hit.
