Watch a New Video from New Orleans Rippers, Goatwhore

Let's be straight. The name Goatwhore is more than a little cheeky. In fact, it's down right hilarious. But that's the thing about the New Orleans band—they're far from conventional, flirting with the sounds of some of the local heroes mixed in with more obvious influences in the thrash and black metal. The latest single and video for "Baring Teeth for Revolt" is more ripping, groovy black thrash, some that could only come from guys involved in bands like Crowbar, Soilent Green, and Acid Bath.
