Get Out Of Your Adulthood Funk With Fucko's "Best Little Something in Somewhere"

Their new song will make you want to put on your finest flannel and tell the world to fuck off because you're done with its crap, you have dreams you want to pursue.

When this Fucko song hit my inbox, I stopped everything I was doing, ripped out my headphones, turned it all the way up to eleven and just let it all out. That's the effect the Nirvana-esque chords and breakdowns have on you. It's grungy, it's angry, and it will make you want to put on your finest flannel and tell the world to fuck off because you're done with its crap, you have dreams you want to pursue.

"'Best Little Something in Somewhere' is about observing the sink into a defeated adulthood that some people create for themselves and the frustrating yet hypocritical resentment that can follow," says Sarah Desmarais of the song. "We wrote the song in the middle of the relentless bout of New England snowstorms last winter just before I broke my hand, hence the sarcastic title. It's a theme throughout most of the album—being aimless and exhausted while watching others in the same situation give up on what makes them 'them.'"

So pull yourself up by your shoelaces and listen to their new song below. Then do something nice for yourself and pre-order their LP, Dealing With The Weird out 2/26 on Black Numbers.
