Le Flex Wins Kitsuné and Noisey's Kilo Kish Remix Competition

Click to hear what this rising London-based electronicist did to Kish.

Last month

we teamed up with Parisian label Kitsuné,

made the stems for Kilo Kish's "Curious" available online and encourged anyone and everyone to get remixing. The prize? Getting your remix on the French label's soundcloud plus a bunch of swaggy Kitsuné clothes. After much debate, Kish, Kitsuné, and Noisey have finally come to a decision and London-based producer Le Flex scooped this sonic prize.

Listen to his reimagining of "Curious" below, plus here's a little bit about Le Flex from the man himself.

"I'm from London but I have many friends in Paris so I spend a lot of time there because it's a beautiful city with wonderful people. I started the Le Flex project just over a year ago because I love the French touch, nu disco and the 80s sound and wanted to make music that would be cool for a club and also on a beach. I am a big fan of artists like Tobtok, Danglo and also Darius.

"For my music I always try to bring a flavor of old and new in my tracks. I think taking the cool synth sounds of the past and mixing them with the modern production techniques from today is a combination that so many people love.

I am currently working on some fantastic remixes and i'm getting ready to put my own tracks out there."

Congrats Le Flex, this track is dope—Balearic and exceptionally chill. Check out more of his stuff here.
