NOISEY 089: RUIDO ROSA

Just looking at them, some people might not expect Ruido Rosa to produce bone-crunching rock ‘n’ roll. But that’s just because they’re sexist jerks. This tough-as-nails all-girl four piece throws Zeppelin riffs in a meat grinder, with monstrous guitars towering over brain melting drumbeats.

They started off pretty humbly, but it wasn’t long before they landed an opening slot for three shows with KISS. Yeah, that’s right, the original Knights In Satan’s Service. Since then it’s been tough for Ruido Rosa to avoid rabid fans. We caught up with them on the last stop of a short tour of Guanajuato, Mexico’s central state. The night before we saw them they had to be rushed from the venue to escape the wild crowd.
