The Weeknd has been one of the most unstoppable forces in both the pop and "indie" (sorry) scenes since the mysterious and confounding release of his first album, House of Balloons, back in 2011. Now, with two more celebrated releases under his belt, an official debut on the way, and his veil of anonymity lifted, Abel Tesfaye is primed to lead the R&B race in the coming year.
