Seattle post-punk outfit The Intelligence boasts a prolific catalog of albums, singles, and EPs, but they might have just bested themselves with their newest full length, Everybody’s Got It Easy But Me. Recorded with Chris Woodhouse of California’s The Hangar Studios, the LP shows off Lars Finberg’s witty lyricism and powerful, scratchy vocals. This synthy, garage-rock album isn’t as lo-fi as you might expect, but it still clatters and clangs with unbridled charisma.
