Stream Tony Castles' New Track

It's called "Medium," it's got soul, and it makes all these indie wusses hiding behind fake synths and aquatic echo look stupid.

All these vitamin D deprived indie wusses hiding behind fake synths and drum machines and aquatic vocal echo start to get on our nerves after a while. Their records are usually pretty good, but onstage they're just flat out boring. Vibe is an almost impossible thing to nail, and when a band does it right, it's worth noting, right? Right.

That's why, over at Noisey, we've got a serious band crush on Tony Castles, a trio from Brooklyn who've devoted themselves to fucking soul, man. Paul Sicillian isn't afraid to use his voice, and the Willie Miesmer and Alex Russek aren't afraid to groove, hard. All of that is evidenced in this new track, "Medium," which you can stream below by pressing that little orange button down there:

"Medium" is featured on the Sharon Stone EP, which is coming out October 23rd. You can stream the rest of the record right here. The boys are also getting a little help from Greedhead, the label and management company founded by our boy Heems from Das Racist.
