Fashion's Night Out: one evening when fashion's elite, music's most buzzed-about, and the public's most masochistic traverse the chic shops of SoHo for free live music, prosecco, and a heaping helping of claustraphobia. It is—for all intents and purposes—a shitshow.
But nothing, not even half-starved 16-year-old girls with their four inch stillettos and coke-jaw, could stop us from seeing our girl Katy Goodman play at the Helmut Lang shop with her band, La Sera.
Donning a gorgeous Helmut Lang dress (the price of which rivals our rent), Katy and company played to a packed house before Swedish electropop duo Icona Pop took to the decks to DJ the proceedings.
